As a rider partner, we collect the following information:

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your rider partner account
• Match you with available delivery orders in your area
• Display your live location on the customer's order tracking screen during active deliveries
• Send push notifications for new available orders
• Track and display your earnings and delivery history
• Allow the admin to approve, manage, and monitor rider accounts
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3 Information Sharing

We share limited information only as necessary to fulfill deliveries:

• Customers: Your name, phone number, and live GPS location (during active delivery) are shared with the customer whose order you are delivering.
• Admin: Your full profile, approval status, online status, and delivery history are visible to the platform administrator.
• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, database, and push notifications. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed through Firebase.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We implement the following security measures:

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Firebase Authentication handles password hashing — we never store plain-text passwords
• Firestore Security Rules restrict data access — riders can only read/write their own profile and assigned orders
• Rider accounts require admin approval before access is granted

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

5 Location Data

The Rider App accesses your device's GPS location continuously during active deliveries to display your real-time position on the in-app delivery map and share it with the customer tracking their order. Location updates are collected approximately every 20 meters of movement.

Location access is used:

• To show your position on the live delivery map screen within the app
• To help customers see real-time delivery progress
• To enable the "Navigate to Customer" button (opens your preferred navigation app)

We do not track your location when you are offline, when the app is closed, or when you are not on an active delivery. You can stop location sharing at any time by ending the delivery or toggling your online status off.

6 Push Notifications

We send push notifications to alert you of:

• New delivery orders available in your area
• Order status updates (assigned, customer messages)
• Admin announcements

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings. Note that disabling notifications may cause you to miss new order alerts.

7 Earnings & Financial Data

The app tracks your delivery earnings (calculated as 80% of the delivery charge per order) and total delivery count. Each completed delivery automatically adds your earnings to a top-up wallet balance associated with your rider account. This data is:

• Visible to you in the Earnings and Top Up Wallet sections of the app
• Visible to the platform administrator
• Used to generate your earnings and top-up history

We do not collect bank account numbers, payment card details, or any other financial account information. The top-up wallet balance is tracked for record-keeping and payout calculation purposes only.

8 Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update your name, phone, vehicle number, or town in the Profile section of the app
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Opt-out of notifications: Disable push notifications via device settings
• Go offline: Toggle your online status off at any time to stop receiving new orders

9 Children's Privacy

The Fresh Delivery Rider App is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Rider accounts require admin approval, which includes age verification. If you believe a minor has registered as a rider, please contact us immediately.

10 Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase – Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Firebase Privacy
• OpenStreetMap / Leaflet.js – Map tiles for the in-app delivery map (Leaflet.js is bundled directly in the app; no external CDN requests are made). Tile requests are sent to OpenStreetMap servers, but no personal data is included in these requests.
• Google Play Services – Device services and push notification delivery

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
